A Message From The Principal:

After 22 years of teaching in the Early Childhood Development Sector, I have finally reached my goal of opening my own school. My experience has taught me that the development of a child at this age is crucial to future success in a child’s life. I firmly believe that children should develop at their own pace, with the use of routine and muscle development at its core.

Technology can be a great tool for these little ones, who are still learning to talk, walk, understand and do, a hands-on approach is the best. It is also important to recognise the abilities of each child, strengths and weaknesses. Strengths can be used to develop self-confidence and motivate a child to attempt the weaknesses, as at this age they will often avoid the things they struggle to do. I believe that every little step forward, is a success, it doesn’t matter how big or how small. Approaching each difficulty with a positive attitude and little steps, is what will bring out the best in a child.

Our kids should be given the opportunity to try, to grow from the little seedlings all the way to a blossoming sunflower, still reaching for the sun. I absolutely love what I do and getting to know your kids will always be my privilege and honour, as we are holding the future in our hands and hearts.

Yours in Education,
Hanliëtte Marsh.
